This service is available for individuals aged 6 months old and over. The vaccine (Bexsero or Trumenba) costs £110 per dose. Two or three doses are required to complete the vaccination course. The relevant schedule will be decided at your appointment with our pharmacist, Sam. This service is not suitable for anyone who has previously had an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to any of the vaccine ingredients. Sam will assess suitability and ensure the vaccine is appropriate before administration. If you are ineligible for this service, a £15 consultation fee will be retained.
Please note: Yellow Fever vaccinations are administered at our sister branch, Cyncoed Pharmacy, by Hayley only. A £15 consultation fee applies per trip. Any vaccinations given will incur an additional charge. Please book one appointment per person.
Please note: Only minor ear infections may be treated through this service. Severe pain, bleeding, sudden/unexplained hearing loss or symptoms of mastoiditis will need to be seen by a GP.
This appointment is designed to assess whether ear wax is present and if removal is necessary. Using an otoscope, the pharmacist will examine your ear canal and let you know if you would benefit from our private ear wax removal service at our sister pharmacy, Cyncoed Pharmacy.
Please note: This appointment is for assessment only and does not include wax removal. The Ear Wax Removal service is only available for individuals aged over 18 and is provided at Cyncoed Pharmacy.
The Chicken Pox vaccine requires two doses at a minimum of four weeks apart. This service is available for those aged 1 to 64 years old. The vaccination fee of £75 is payable in full at the time of booking. If ineligible, a consultation fee of £15 is applicable. Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours notice. No further payment is required at the appointment for this service.
